We are here to help you! Our Food Pantry works in a two-part system. When the food pantry is open, follow these instructions. You can see when the food pantry is open by referring to the calendar that’s at the bottom of the screen.

On Tuesdays before the highlighted Wednesdays, between 9 AM and 11 AM, call the Food Pantry’s phone number that’s at the bottom of the page, and speak with our friendly Food Pantry volunteer. This is not the church’s phone number. You will then be added to ESBC’s Food Pantry list of families needing assistance.

On the Wednesdays that are highlighted, arrive promptly before 9 AM to be present for a 5-minute devotional. The doors of the gym will be locked at 9:01. No late entries will be allowed in the building and you will not be able to collect your food if you aren’t present for the devotion. The Food Pantry volunteers hand out food from the gym, which is on the west side of the church building; this is on the opposite side of the sanctuary.

To use the Food Pantry, you must be a citizen of Murphysboro. It is open twice a month, and you can sign up both weeks each month that it’s available.

We are here to serve the community as Christ did. Our team is happy to answer you if you have any questions while our volunteer is in their office on Tuesdays the Food Pantry is taking calls.
